The Directors Council is the living soul of Alma Libre— a team of on-site founder-investors who volunteer their gifts, time, and heart to lead this sanctuary into global impact. There are no bosses here. No hierarchy. Only aligned stewardship.
This is not a job. It’s a sacred trust. We are building something for the next 100 years—and beyond... An Ark securing the best parts of humanity. ❤️
What It Means to Be a Director Council Member
Council Members are more than leaders—they are the
living roots of the Alma Libre sanctuary. Each one is a founder & shareholder who chooses to live on the land, contribute their gifts, and shape the culture, operations, and future of our regenerative community.
Every Director Council Member:
Holds a Full Founder Share: They are full equity holders in Alma Libre Costa Rica, with all the rights, benefits, and long-term returns of investor-owners.
Council Members are not employees—they are co-stakeholders who help direct the sanctuary’s future.
Responsibilities:
They each oversee a Key Area of Sanctuary Life, From regenerative farming to wellness programs, guest experiences to infrastructure—each member brings their expertise to lead a vital domain of operations.
They coordinate day-to-day activity, support Work-Stay and guest teams, and bring their area or responsibility to life with passion and purpose.
Shared Responsibility
They all participate in a Self-Governing Round Table. There are no bosses here. The Council governs itself, meeting bi-weekly to align vision, review performance, and vote on role rotations or replacements.
Every seat is equal. Every voice matters. This is a circle of shared stewardship, not hierarchy.
In Addition to all the Normal Investor Perks included in becoming a founder In Alma Libre. Director Council Members also enjoy;
A Private Full-Time Residence Cottage
Each member is gifted a dedicated, beautifully designed cottage for year-round personal use during their term as Council member. This is in addition to their founder investment cottage and rental pool benefits. A cottage built to provide stability, comfort, and connection to the land they help steward.
Double Profit Share
All investors receive an equal profit share amount from rentals and sanctuary business endeavors. Council Members receive TWICE the standard investment return as recognition for leadership
Unlimited Access
Free, unrestricted participation in all special events, holiday weeks, workshops, and retreats hosted at the Sanctuary.
Voting Rights
Role based voting on all elements of managing Alma Libre including problem solving, new projects, World Crisis emergency announcements and Legacy Trust Management.

Founding Patron Retreat Week Invitations ($4,000 Value):
Influencers will be
invited to one of the two immersive Founding Patron Retreat Weeks of their
choice. These weeks align with different aspects of the Alma Libre ethos,
allowing influencers to self-select the experience that best matches their

1-Week Stays in 2-Bedroom Glamping Tents ($3,000 Value):
We will offer influencers complimentary 1-week stays in our luxury glamping tents once they are built. Each influencer can bring up to 3 guests to participate in the
experience. With 5 dedicated influencer tents available, this ensures continuous influencer rotation and robust storytelling throughout Phase 1.
Co-Creation and Content Opportunities:
Influencers are encouraged to actively participate in
workshops, live/work exchanges, and experiential events, co-creating content that captures the soul of Alma Libre. They will be given affiliate codes and
opportunities to earn rewards such as free weeks for each investor they bring in, and a deeper stake in the community’s narrative.
